Who can think back and remember the days when all there was to call people on was a rotary dial phone. Took you five minutes to dial those seven numbers and heaven forbid if you had to call long distance or get to that 7th number just to realize you dialed the wrong number. How about the only channels you were able to watch on the good 'ol telly were all local; if you could dial in the antenna to receive a good signal. I know for me when we got cable it felt like we hit the lottery. That was how I remember it feeling. Like the gamespot360, something new and exciting. I believe my first video game ever was pong. Then I remember getting an odyssey from my sister-in-law man I loved the spaceship game. Anyways, video games has been a way for me to just get away from it all you know? I can almost, to a fault, become part of the game. My outside world only consists of something to eat or drink and of course the occasional bathroom breaks though I'm about to break by the time I give up and go. Especially the way games are nowadays you just can't put them down. Not unlike back in the day when you couldn't walk away from the good old stand up machines. Gamespot360 gives me the chance to get a little of the boy in me back. Bring me back down to my kids level again. I never realized how much my 9to5 job took away from me and my family. Gamespot360 is my way of getting to play and not having to worry as much about the wife getting too mad at me for spending so much time in my own little world. Conversing with members on the gamespot forum or offering my opinion of a game or gaming site on the gamespot home page mostly about things that are related to the xbox 360 gamespot also keeps me out of the hot water a little:). This is to formally invite each and every person to join me in my quest to make this world a fun loving place to play. Become a contributor and write about what you know on the gamespot homepage. Share the secrets you have learned about your favorite games and talk with fellow gamers and create your own blogs about whatever else will help bring about a little peace in your life on the gamespot forum. Find the games you like on the xbox 360 gamespot and let everyone know. So check out the gamespot 360 homepage, gamespot forum, or the xbox 360 homepage.and share your favorite, or advise those in need. Just think the next qauestion you answer for someone could be the difference between their life or the death of all their next games. |
