Calling all you Xbox 360 Gamespot fans out of the box, what did you think about the newest release of Mercenaries 2, for the 360? I got my grubby gaming paws wrapped around this hot new title over the weekend and I must say that I was quite impressed with all that it had to offer—even if it has a crumby t for Teen rating that assures there is no real blood – but not all games can be a Ninja Gaiden. On to the cool nifty things about this game for all of you Xbox 360 Gamespot readers who have not had a chance yet to play it.

The game offers a huge open world environment similar to Grand Theft Auto, yet its own thing. Think ‘GTA’ meets ‘Just Cause,’ but mostly ‘Just Cause’ and you will have the right idea behind this one. The environment is entirely destructible which can make for great fun when driving a tank around and pillaging. The game offers 100s of hours of game play, tons of weapons and a decent, if not semi-cheesy plot that should leave you interested in getting your character up the ranks.
